Heritage Junior Inventory Controller

Williams Heritage keeps 40 years of racing history alive — from race-winning gearboxes to championship-clinching chassis — and we’re looking for a Junior Inventory Controller to help look after it. You’ll track, store and move thousands of components across our Heritage and Archive warehouses, using our D365 ERP system to keep every item accounted for.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out accurate stock takes across 40 years’ worth of car parts and bought-in items, using hand-held devices.
• Booking new and re-manufactured parts into Goods-In and completing accurate put-away work.
• Keeping inventory management systems up to date so every component, tool and consumable is traceable.
• Picking and issuing parts for assemblies like hydraulics and gearboxes, working from build coordinators’ documentation.
• Managing parts transfers between F1 Stores and Heritage Stores, and building and maintaining truck inventory.
• Organising van and courier bookings so build and parts coordinators have what they need, when they need it.
• Keeping the warehouse organised, labelled and accessible, and driving the forklift as required.

What you’ll bring

• A genuinely organised, thorough approach with an eye for the details others miss.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, working closely with mechanics, build coordinators and the wider team.
• A real interest in motorsport, and ideally some understanding of Williams’ history and legacy.
• GCSEs/A-levels or equivalent; experience with inventory management software (D365 or similar) is a bonus but not essential — training provided.
• A forklift licence is a plus; training is provided if you don’t have one yet.
