CNC-Mechanic – Prototyping (Apprenticeship graduate)

Join our Prototyping team, setting up and running highly complex milled components on state-of-the-art 5-axis machining centres.

Your mission

• Setting up and overseeing highly complex milled components, and independently implementing process-relevant modifications.
• Continuously optimising milling processes in close collaboration with the internal CAM programming team.
• Demanding manufacturing on state-of-the-art 5-axis machining centres with Heidenhain TNC640 controls.
• Loading and prioritising prototype, single and small-batch parts using the latest robot technology.
• Taking full responsibility for component accuracy and monitoring the complete production workflow.
• Coordinating the entire process, from material ordering to quality control of the workpieces.
• Ensuring optimal machine-runtime utilisation through a regulated 2-shift system.

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a Polymechanic EFZ or a comparable technical qualification.
• Initial experience in the independent operation of 5-axis machines.
• Initial knowledge of Heidenhain controls; experience with the TNC640 version is a major advantage.
• Strong quality awareness with an independent, systematic and precise working method.
• Fluent German for everyday work; additional English is an advantage.
