Composite Design Engineer

We are looking to add to our excellent team with individuals who are motivated to significantly contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence, and ultimately a championship contending team. At our state-of-the-art facility in Oxfordshire we have a new opportunity within our Composite Design team as a Design Engineer, working within the Composite Design Group on the design of complex composite components and sub-systems.

The role

• Undertake the design of a variety of composite components: either structural (Chassis, Impact Structures, Wishbones, Wings, etc.) or non-structural (Bodywork, Floor, Ducts, etc.).
• Responsibilities include concept design and scheming components from initial Aero surface, defining patterns, moulds and specifying laminates.
• On large assemblies, this involves working in a small project team; on less complex parts, sole charge of the design.
• Take ownership of your own designs with the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge.
