Electrical Support Engineer (RBAT)

Red Bull Advanced Technologies (RBAT) carries the performance culture of Formula 1 into some of engineering’s hardest problems, working across mobility, sustainability and high-performance vehicle design. The team is hiring an Electrical Support Engineer on an 18-month fixed-term contract to support the design, build and testing of its electrical systems.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide technical support for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Help specify and install electrical systems and components, and support technicians through builds, commissioning, calibration and fault-finding.
- Contribute to electrical inspection, testing and quality management, including rig and track testing.
- Support the design and roll-out of new electrical systems, and use data analysis to spot and resolve anomalies.
- Calibrate systems and sensors to keep data quality high, and manage software version control across rigs and products.
- Coordinate with supply partners on data transfer and setup, keep accurate records of software releases and system changes, and produce post-test/event performance reports.

A strong technical background in electrical and electronic systems, including software configuration and installation, paired with solid data-analysis skills for monitoring telemetry and identifying failures. Attention to detail, clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, adaptability across different functions, and strong organisational skills round out the ideal profile, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
