CAD/CAM Programmer

We are currently looking for a CAD-CAM Programmer who will design and produce tooling and control jigs, using the CAD system to design the product and the CAM system to program and guide machine tool operations. The role is based within the production department, allowing close follow-up of the product to ensure it meets expectations while respecting procedures and quality standards.

Programming

• CAD/CAM programming of 5-axis CNC machinery for mechanical processing based on drawings supplied by the technical office.
• Support production operators where needed in the operation of milling machines.
• Develop tool paths for the creation of moulds, models, tooling and various components.
• Work closely with CNC operators to optimise work cycles and tool usage, and design moulds for mechanical processing.

What we need from you

• At least 4–5 years’ previous experience in the role, preferably in mechanical engineering companies.
• Good knowledge of machine tools and work centres, and good knowledge of Hypermill and Siemens NX.
• Knowledge of composite materials and different mechanical processing methods.
• Availability to work shifts, including nights if necessary.
