CNC-Mechaniker – Prototypenbau

Set up and run highly complex milled components in our Prototyping department, on state-of-the-art 5-axis machining centres. (German-language posting.)

Your mission

• Running-in and supervision of highly complex milled components, and independent implementation of process-relevant modifications.
• Continuous optimisation of milling processes in close collaboration with the internal CAM programming department.
• Demanding manufacturing on state-of-the-art 5-axis machining centres with Heidenhain TNC640 controls.
• Loading and prioritising prototypes, individual parts and small batch series using the latest robotics technology.
• Full responsibility for component accuracy and comprehensive monitoring of the entire production workflow.
• Coordinating the overall process, from material procurement to final quality inspection.
• Ensuring optimal machine-runtime utilisation within a standard 2-shift operation.

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a Polymechanic EFZ or a comparable technical qualification.
• Solid practical experience in the independent operation of 5-axis machines.
• In-depth knowledge of Heidenhain controls; experience with the TNC640 version is a significant advantage.
• Strong quality awareness with an independent, systematic and precise working method.
• Fluent German for daily work; additional English is advantageous.
