Industrial Placement Programme 2027/2028

Ready to take your first step into Formula 1? Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team is looking for innovative and motivated students who share our passion for making the race car go faster to join our Aerodynamics, Vehicle Performance and Technology departments. This is a 13-month placement opportunity, starting in July 2027 in Milton Keynes (UK). UK visa sponsorship is available. Applications close 4th October 2026.

Streams on offer

• Aerodynamic Development, CFD Methodology, Aerodynamic Surfacing, Model Design, Mechanical Design and Aero Performance — working with CAD, CFD and wind tunnel data.
• Data Science, Race Strategy, and Simulation & Modelling — applying machine learning, statistics and simulation tools to extract performance insight.
• Race Engineering Support, Wind Tunnel Operations, and Wind Tunnel Electronics — hands-on R&D and instrumentation work supporting the aerodynamic testing programme.
• Software Engineering, DevOps and Quality Assurance — writing code in C#, TypeScript, React and Python to build and maintain analysis and simulation tools.

What we’re looking for

• At least 1 year into an undergraduate degree, working towards a relevant technical degree such as Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Focused on achieving excellence within a fast-paced team environment, with a team-player attitude, creativity and proactivity.
• Capability of working to deadlines, and fluency in English.
