This role reports to the IT Service Delivery Team Lead or their designee and is based in Banbury, UK, supporting the delivery of high-quality IT support and services across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Support, administer and enhance Microsoft 365 and modern workplace services, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Autopilot, Power Platform, Entra ID and related technologies.
- Design, develop and enhance small-scale SharePoint and Power Platform solutions, including low-code automation, workflow improvements, forms, lists and pages.
- Provide 2nd line, and where appropriate 3rd line, technical support to a global user base, taking ownership of incidents through to resolution.
- Act as a technical escalation point within the Service Delivery team for complex incidents, conducting detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Support Microsoft 365 adoption and user enablement, including effective use of collaboration, productivity and AI-enabled tools.
- Assist with IT asset, software licence and inventory management, and with user lifecycle activities including onboarding and offboarding.
What you’ll bring
- BSc, MIS or other IT-related qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive IT support experience.
- Advanced qualification in Microsoft 365 administration and/or development, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced knowledge of endpoint management, working knowledge of identity and access concepts (Active Directory, conditional access, MFA), and strong security awareness.
- Proven experience with an ITSM platform (e.g. ServiceNow), and applied scripting/automation knowledge (e.g. PowerShell) is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Apple client environments and Linux client/server environments is a plus.
