Model Maker

As a Model Maker, you’ll be at the heart of our Aerodynamics department, crafting and testing high-precision 60% scale model parts in one of the most advanced wind tunnel facilities in motorsport. What you make in the Model Shop makes it onto the racetrack.

About the role

• Manufacture and test precision 60% scale parts, working hand-in-hand with the Model Design, Aero, and Aero Test Facilities teams to keep development moving at pace.
• Own the detail on traceability and readiness, making sure every part is accounted for and the pre-fit model is always race-ready.
• Build a close working relationship with the Aero Design Team, using hands-on expertise to spot opportunities for faster model change times without compromising quality.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement that runs through Aero Production, raising issues and helping fix them when something isn’t right.
• Take pride in the standards you set in the Model Shop — a showcase facility — from Health & Safety to the impression left on partners and guests.

About you

• Precision-focused and thrives under pressure, with a natural collaborator’s instinct to spot ways to do things better.
• High standards, a sharp eye for detail, and the resilience to keep delivering in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.
• Background in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or motorsport is welcome — drive for excellence matters most.
