Operative, Indirect Procurement

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Operative to join our Indirect Procurement team at McLaren Racing. The Indirect Procurement team manages the sourcing of goods and services that support all non-car-related functions at McLaren Racing, including Commercial, Business Performance, Marketing, Heritage, IT and Facilities, and plays a key role in ensuring strategic procurement decisions align with the cost cap regulations introduced in Formula 1 in 2026.

What you’ll do

• Support day-to-day indirect procurement operations, including purchase order creation and P2P (procure-to-pay) activities.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, supplier communications and the maintenance of procurement processes.
• Contribute to sourcing activities and support data analysis to inform procurement decisions.
• Carry out complex tasks and activities that provide supporting services to facilitate Indirect Procurement.

Role dimensions

• Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, following a hybrid working policy, based at the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) in Woking, Surrey.
• Requires initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively under time constraints.
