Senior People Business Partner

The Senior People Business Partner aligns People & Culture (P&C) strategies with business goals, overseeing multiple business units or a larger segment of the organisation. Responsible for high-level strategic planning, organisational development and change management, the role influences senior leaders, builds strong partnerships and shapes the overall P&C strategy alongside the People Leadership Team.

Main duties

• Act as a trusted advisor, coaching senior leaders through regular 1:1s and developing people solutions for current and future needs.
• Advise and support leadership on change and transformation projects for the future-state organisation.
• Build an affordable workforce plan that meets future demand and closes capability gaps in line with business strategy.
• Partner with the ER team to manage leadership changes while maintaining positive employee relations.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and leadership on senior appointments and succession pipelines.
• Support key people processes — OKRs, end-of-year reviews and compensation review — to drive high performance.
• Use internal and external data to anticipate trends and recommend change across the employee lifecycle.

What you’ll bring

• Extensive HR experience with a proven track record in strategic HR management in a commercial setting.
• Experience leading HR transformation and supporting organisational change.
• CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent).
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, relationship management and data literacy.
• Expertise in organisational design, workforce planning and change management.
