Role purpose: The Team Kit Manager owns the end-to-end coordination, procurement, management and distribution of all team kit — race-day apparel, travel wear, promotional garments and event merchandise worn and used by the Williams Racing team. Sitting at the intersection of logistics, supplier management and stakeholder coordination, it’s a hands-on, delivery-focused role reporting to the Head of Merchandising and line-managing the Team Kit Coordinators.

Main duties

  • Procurement & suppliers: own the full kit procurement cycle, manage supplier relationships, quality, delivery and cost, and oversee the pick/pack/distribution partner.
  • Inventory & stock: maintain accurate real-time kit inventory across Grove, London and trackside; manage sizing, replenishment, allocation, returns and end-of-season stock.
  • Race & event operations: prepare, pack and ship kit for each race weekend, test and event; attend events as the trackside point of contact; manage last-minute needs on-site.
  • People management: line-manage and develop the Team Kit Coordinators, delegating trackside and operational tasks.
  • Stakeholder coordination: manage driver and entourage kit, partner-facing event requirements, and act as the internal point of contact for all kit queries.
  • Brand & budget: ensure kit meets Williams brand and partner-visibility requirements across market variants, and manage the kit budget and reporting.

This role is based across Grove (Oxfordshire) and London, five days per week in office, with travel to races, tests, supplier visits and events — domestically and internationally.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in kit management, ideally within sport, events or a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Experience managing or supervising others, with strong organisational and project-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail around stock accuracy, sizing and presentation standards.
  • Experience working with suppliers and managing procurement processes.
  • Comfortable with regular travel and flexible working, including evenings and weekends during race events.
  • Desirable: F1 or motorsport experience, familiarity with FIA freight and logistics, and knowledge of garment production or apparel supply chains.
